This late summer wedding reception blended nature and casual elegance. The ceremony took place out on a meadow where nature served as the perfect backdrop. Pictures of the wedding party were taken all around the outside of the venue with pieces from our decor line used to add a little flair. Afterward, the pieces were used as a lounge around yard games of bocce ball. Cocktail hour featured summer tomato gazpacho and fruit displayed on a vintage dresser. Our servers passed around fried pimento cheese puffs, pulled pork sliders with cabbage on a Hawaiian bun, and mini crab cakes with a tangy lemon creole remoulade. Dinner was served family style and included a grilled chipotle salmon, a freshly grilled marinated flank steak, and a tender pork loin with a summer inspired chutney. Sides of grilled vegetables, buttery whipped potatoes, a broccoli, savoy cabbage, and cauliflower stir fry, and yeast rolls and mini corn muffins with whipped honey butter rounded out the meal.
