Planning weddings is a long process and we like to get as involved as we can to make receptions truly fabulous. Then, when it is all over, you realize that along the way you bond with your clients and it is almost bittersweet for it to end. This family is a perfect example of such. I can't not express how grateful I am that this family put all their faith in our little company and allowed us to be such a big part of this special day.
This reception featured some of the very best talent in the valley and we could not believe how utterly beautiful Braeloch was transformed. Farm tables and chairs sourced from Aztec made the head table a centerpiece in itself. Floral by Creative Occasions was just divine and gave the rustic setting a very whimsical and feminine touch. Vicki with Simplicity kept us all in line so that the entire day was seamless. Pictures by Ashley Lester and video from Michael's documented the happy affair.
This family loves good simple Southern food and so we worked with them to create a menu that reflected their love of food and fun personality. Cocktail hour featured buttermilk ham biscuits with sweet potato butter, fried pimento cheese, a creamy corn dip, and a farmer's market table filled to the brim with fresh fruits and vegetables.
Dinner was stations style service and included a salad station with an array of salads including a spring berry salad, a kebab station with all sorts of dipping sauces, a mashed potato bar complete with bacon and cheese, and a hot wing station with macaroni and cheese made special for the groom!
Dessert was a beautiful cake by Joanna Frye!
